Grace College offers more than just a beautiful and supportive place to live while you study. It is a welcoming community of students and caring staff who will encourage you to embrace a full university experience both on and off campus: academic, sporting, cultural, social and spiritual life.
Academic: Grace College has a strong academic record with over one third of students maintaining a GPA of 6 or above. To support residents in their academic endeavours, a range of academic tutorials are offered to students at no additional charge. Academic excellence is rewarded with a range of bursaries and awards, at the annual Academic Dinner.
Sporting: Students at Grace are able to participate in a wide range of sports including rowing, netball, volleyball, basketball, tennis, squash, soccer, touch football, hockey, athletics, cross country, swimming and cricket.
Cultural: There is a wide range of cultural activities available including: choir, Choralfest, art shows, one act plays, Bandfest, College Idol, Dancefest, public speaking and debating. There are music rooms and pianos available for use throughout the college.
Spiritual: Every week after Formal Dinner on Tuesday we have an informal, faith and life session. Throughout the semester, the college holds services in celebration of various events. This provides an opportunity for musicians and singers to use their skills in the leadership of praise and worship. Grace College also hosts an Active Faith chaplaincy program providing an extra dimension of pastoral care.
Social: There are a number of social functions conducted by the Student Executive throughout their year including Grace At Home, Grace Ball, Grace Thaw-out and Valedictory Dinner.
Students are encouraged to find at least one extra-curricular activity that they can participate in. Whatever your interests and hobbies, Grace College provides a great environment to make new friends and enjoy university life to the fullest.
