2021 Fees for New Residents

Standard Room

$520per week
  • Student Club Fee: $295 for the year ($150 per semester)
  • Administration Fee (Deposit): $750 (once only)
  • Administration Fee is refundable on successful completion of your contract.
  • Orientation Week Activity Fee: $295 (once only)
  • Orientation Week Activity Fee Waived for 35 Week Contracts

Ensuite Room

$605per week
  • Student Club Fee: $295 for the year ($150 per semester)

First year contracts are normally 35 weeks in length –
18 weeks in Semester 1 (including Orientation Week) and 17 weeks in Semester 2.
(Trimester-based contracts are available for UQCollege & Griffith University students.)
Early arrivals and delayed departures are available.

Residents are committed to their contracts unless the College is able to find someone to fill the vacancy. In 2021, a break of contract fee of $750 may be incurred if a resident leaves prior to the end of their contract.

2021 Accommodation Scholarships

In 2021, the College is offering 4 Entry Scholarships (for new residents) and 2 Leadership Scholarships (for 3rd Year and above residents). The value of the scholarships are $3000 each. For more information, please consult the scholarship conditions:

Refund Policy

Grace College recognises that we live in uncertain times. We seek to offer some flexibility for our student residents, while being careful with managing the College’s financial sustainability. Many of the College’s costs are fixed. The College has limited opportunities to fill vacancies after the Academic Year begins. The Administration Fee that secures a place at the College for a student is not refundable unless the resident successfully completes her contract. However, provided a student notifies us of her withdrawal at least 2 weeks prior to the commencement of her contract period or moving in (whichever is sooner), Grace College will not charge any further contract fees. Once a contract period has commenced or the student has moved in (whichever is sooner), the College is unable to refund/credit the current Term’s fees (without any discounts being applied). However consideration may be given to the refund/crediting of fees for subsequent Terms. A break of contract fee will be charged for withdrawal from a contract less than 2 weeks prior to the commencement of the contract period or moving in (whichever is sooner).
