UQ Accommodation Grace College
Grace College provides on-campus living for women at the University of Queensland St Lucia campus. Full board plus a vibrant community, offering the benefits of social, cultural & sporting activities are just the tip of the iceberg when we are asked about what sets us apart.
With only 177 beds, we are large enough to participate and score well in the inter-college competitions; and small enough to feel like a big family – your home away from home.
We attract bright students who are serious about their studies and pursuing leadership opportunities outside of their studies, balanced with an active social life. Our residents support each other to be happy, healthy and safe. #gofarjustasyouare #gofarwithgrace
Safety is important to our College. Access between 6 pm and 9 am for residents is via use of their personal electronic security fob. CCTV cameras are used on all entrances to the site. Visitors to our site are signed in and out by residents. We observe a range of other risk management and safety protocols.
Women of many faith traditions and worldviews, cultures, ethnicities and nationalities enrich Grace College’s common life. With more than 40% of our residents coming from outside Australia, we have the second highest proportion of international students in an on-campus community at UQ.
Specially for women
Our College is only for women university students with a friendly, nurturing and supportive environment designed specifically for women enriching their paths to academic success and their lives as contributors to the global community.
Having three meals a day provided while studying makes things super easy. Our kitchen prepares delicious meals with options for you to make your own lunches. We cater for a wide range of dietary needs.
We have the lowest price full service college rates on-campus!
Grace College has a commitment to being in and for community (in our weaknesses as well as in our strengths).
We encourage and support mutual accountability to each other and the wider inter-collegiate community in diverse endeavours (academic, faith/meaning-making, sporting, cultural, social).
We genuinely care for one another, those in need and the environment.
