Our Community .

Current Residents .

2022 was a landmark year for Grace College as we moved to embrace the broadest ever student mix since we opened our doors at The University of Queensland campus more than half a century ago. From now on, we are embracing a progressive approach to university life by becoming gender inclusive.

We’re excited to welcome undergraduate and postgraduate residents by providing a place that allows them to embrace the joys of living and learning in a supportive community.

Our COVID-19 Response .

Thank you to our residents, staff, volunteers, parents and supporters who have been following the health requirements and encouraging one another through the last 3 years.

We continue to hold detailed plans of our ongoing response to the pandemic; and to monitor ongoing government health directives and recommendations.

Student Resident Handbook .

Our Student Resident Handbook outlines almost everything you will need to know about living in the Grace student accommodation community. There’s fun stuff like info on mascot, Phoebe the mythical Phoenix. There’s more serious stuff too, like the hours of operation for our onsite gym. You will find a wealth of information that will help to make your time at Grace the best it can be.

Bursaries and awards for current residents .

Applications

Applications open in March each year for Academic Achievement, Community Service or Financial Hardship bursaries. Current residents may nominate for an awards / bursary using the application pdf below. Leadership bursaries are awarded on merit, and do not need to be applied for.

The College normally announces award recipients at the annual Academic Dinner in May and at the end of year Valedictory Dinner. The value of most bursaries is based on the weekly fee for a standard room, however, the actual value can vary each year.
